Magic Carpet & Crush’s Coaster![]()
On Thursday we went to Walt Disney Studios. The first ride we went on was called the Magic carpets. It was just a ride where you sat in a plastic magic carpet and you could control it going up and down. It was fairly good but it was probably a ride for younger ones. One of Mum’s favourite rides was Crush’s Coaster. It was a ride based on Finding Nemo. We sat in a plastic turtle shell. Then we went on a little roller coaster thing. It was quite dark. The shell also span around a little bit. It was fun.
RC Racer & Parachute Drop
Dad said he would not go on RC Racer because he was a chicken and it would make me sick. RC racer was Andy’s remote control car from Toy Story. It swung up and down, backwards and forwards. It wasn’t scary but made you feel sick. My mum felt so sick afterwards she didn’t feel like going on any other rides. I (Tyler) thought it was really exciting.
A really good ride was the parachute dropped. My nephew Cooper would have loved this too because it was off Toy Story. We sat in a seat under the parachute and it lifted as up and then dropped us down really fast. It was lots of fun.
Armageddon
Another good one was Armageddon. It was a special effects show. They made it seem like we were actors in a movie. They scene that we were acting was one where there was a meteor crashing into the ship. There was lots of fire and a couple of times the floor fell a couple of inches suddenly. It was fairly scary.
The Tower of Terror
Our favourite ride in the studios was one called The Tower Of Terror. It was really scary. You had to sit in an elevator that went up and then dropped faster than gravity. It went up and down lots of times. It was very, very scary. I loved it. It was Dad’s favourite ride at Disneyland.
